Not being a fan personally of ring games I cannot really comment on the style of play or the advantages / disadvantages over tournament play. I have however played in a couple of ring games and won money! Suffice to say I prefer the cut and thrust of tournament play better

Relativly cheap ring games are available now as poker rooms have buckled to pressure to host 1c/2c tables. Ever popular is Bugsys club and is where I won my little bit of cash.
