There will be a Limit Texas Hold’em tournament held at the Blacksmiths arms in Ryton on Dunsmore on the 6th August 2005. As there will be a few novice poker players taking part there will be a practice hour starting at 7pm. All proceeds will be given to the Warwickshire Air Ambulance. The Tournament should last about 3 -4 hours. Places are limited to 32 and a seat can be reserved by phoning  024 76301818

Each player will receive 1000 chips for their £5 buyin. You are eliminated from the tourney when you lose all your chips. The tourney will not stop, except for short breaks, until one player holds all the chips. That player will be declared the 1^st place finisher. The last player eliminated will be the 2^nd place finisher, the second last player eliminated will be the 3^rd place finisher, etc..

Rules and instructions on how to play are available on request from behind the bar or by emailing me at shakey@lose-your-shirt.co.uk i will then send you all the information in a word document. This sould be a great deal of fun far players of all abilities but those people with limited knowledge of the game should practice with a group of friends or join an online poker room such as bugsysclub.com ( a link to which is posted below )
